Tuy v\u1eady, \u0111\u1eddi s\u1ed1ng ngh\u1ec7 thu\u1eadt c\u1ee7a n\u00f3 \u0111\u00e3 c\u00f3 l\u00fac ch\u01b0a c\u00f3 m\u1ed9t kh\u00f4ng gian t\u01b0\u01a1ng x\u1ee9ng v\u1edbi ch\u00ednh chi\u1ec1u s\u00e2u \u1ea5y. S\u1ef1 thi\u1ebfu v\u1eafng n\u00e0y kh\u00f4ng hi\u1ec3n l\u1ed9, nh\u01b0ng \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c c\u1ea3m nh\u1eadn, b\u1edfi ng\u01b0\u1eddi ngh\u1ec7 s\u0129, b\u1edfi ng\u01b0\u1eddi \u0111\u1ebfn xem, v\u00e0 b\u1edfi ch\u00ednh th\u00e0nh ph\u1ed1.<\/p>\n\t<p>N\u0103m 1995, v\u1edbi s\u1ef1 khai m\u1edf c\u1ee7a Ph\u00f2ng Tranh B\u1ed9i Tr\u00e2n t\u1ea1i kh\u00e1ch s\u1ea1n Saigon Morin, tr\u1ea1ng th\u00e1i \u1ea5y b\u1eaft \u0111\u1ea7u t\u00ecm th\u1ea5y h\u00ecnh th\u1ee9c c\u1ee7a m\u00ecnh. Kho\u1ea3nh kh\u1eafc \u1ea5y kh\u00f4ng t\u1ef1 \u0111\u1eb7t m\u00ecnh nh\u01b0 m\u1ed9t s\u1ef1 ki\u1ec7n, c\u0169ng kh\u00f4ng nh\u1eb1m x\u00e1c l\u1eadp m\u1ed9t h\u01b0\u1edbng \u0111i, m\u00e0 \u0111\u00e1p l\u1ea1i m\u1ed9t \u0111i\u1ec1u v\u1ed1n \u0111\u00e3 hi\u1ec7n h\u1eefu, nh\u01b0ng ch\u01b0a \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c g\u1ecdi t\u00ean.<\/p>\n\t<p>The inaugural exhibition gathered a generation of Vietnamese artists whose practices had shaped the country&#8217;s modern artistic language, Nguyen Trung, Hoang Dang Nhuan, Trinh Cong Son, Tran Van Thao, Do Hoang Tuong, Nguyen Tan Cuong, Hong Viet Dung, Do Quang Em, Dang Xuan Hoa, Ho Huu Thu, Truong Be, Vinh Phoi, Buu Chi, Dinh Cuong, Tran Luu Hau. Their presence marked not a culmination, but a recognition.<\/p>\n\t<p>Ch\u00ednh D\u1ecbch Gi\u1ea3 B\u1eedu \u00dd l\u00e0 ng\u01b0\u1eddi \u0111\u00e3 di\u1ec5n \u0111\u1ea1t nhu c\u1ea7u \u1ea5y m\u1ed9t c\u00e1ch b\u1ec1n v\u1eefng nh\u1ea5t. N\u00f3 l\u00e0 ph\u00f2ng \u0111\u1ee3i \u1edf ng\u01b0\u1ee1ng c\u1eeda v\u0103n h\u00f3a, l\u00e0 sa b\u00e0n c\u1ee7a h\u01b0\u01a1ng hoa m\u1ed9t v\u00f9ng \u0111\u1ea5t, n\u01a1i th\u1ea7m th\u00ec nh\u1ecf c\u1ee7a nh\u1eefng g\u00ec s\u1ebd \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c gi\u1edbi thi\u1ec7u l\u1edbn ti\u1ebfng v\u1ec1 sau. Ph\u00f2ng tranh n\u1ebfu kh\u00f4ng th\u00e0nh m\u1ed9t t\u1ee5 \u0111i\u1ec3m tinh th\u1ea7n, m\u1ed9t \u0111i\u1ec3m h\u1eb9n c\u1ee7a t\u00e2m t\u00ecnh v\u00e0 tu\u1ed5i t\u00e1c, \u00edt ra l\u00e0 m\u1ed9t n\u01a1i b\u01b0\u1edbc ch\u00e2n t\u1ea1m th\u1eddi ch\u1eadm l\u1ea1i v\u00e0 nh\u1eb9 l\u1ea1i \u0111\u1ec3 l\u1eafng nghe, nh\u00ecn ng\u1eafm v\u00e0 c\u1ea3m \u1ee9ng.<\/p>\n\t<p>How isn&#8217;t it grateful?<\/p>\n\t<p>Representing the land of cultural, art tradition and tourism and various schools, Hue has given birth to numerous talents with her famous mountain and river, and said to itself &#8220;stand up&#8221;, and gotten confidence from everybody.<\/p>\n\t<p>Ch\u1eebng n\u00e0o th\u00e0nh ph\u1ed1 Hu\u1ebf ch\u01b0a c\u00f3 m\u1ed9t ph\u00f2ng tr\u01b0ng b\u00e0y ngh\u1ec7 thu\u1eadt \u0111\u00fang ngh\u0129a, ch\u1eebng \u1ea5y t\u1ea5t c\u1ea3 \u00edt nhi\u1ec1u ngh\u0129 t\u1edbi mi\u1ec1n \u0111\u1ea5t n\u00e0y \u0111\u1ec1u c\u1ea3m th\u1ea5y con ng\u01b0\u1eddi v\u1eabn ch\u01b0a \u0111\u1ea7y \u0111\u1ee7 l\u1ec5 b\u1ed9 \u0111\u1ed1i v\u1edbi thi\u00ean nhi\u00ean v\u00e0 l\u1ecbch s\u1eed.<\/p>\n\t<p>B\u1eedu \u00dd<\/p>\n\tWhat Buu Y articulated was not the emergence of a gallery, but the articulation of a condition. A city, in order to be complete, must recognise itself through form. Without such a space, something remains suspended, not absent, but unresolved.\n\tThe gesture of Boi Tran, in establishing the gallery, did not seek to resolve this condition by assertion. It aligned with it. The gallery did not impose meaning upon Hue; it allowed Hue to become legible to itself.\n\tOver time, this initial space extended into what is now Boi Tran Garden. The transformation is not one of expansion, but of continuity. The same principles remain. Architecture yields to landscape. Objects do not compete. Nothing is arranged for effect.\n\tHere, art is not elevated, nor diminished. It is allowed to remain. The visitor is not guided, but received. Time is not compressed, but permitted to unfold.\n\tIn this way, Boi Tran Garden continues the prologue written by Buu Y, not as text, but as condition.
